Building a Niche Store? You Must Include Amazon

December 30th, 2008 by buildanichestores

Building a niche affiliate store is still a great way to earn income on the internet. However, you can no longer just relay on eBay alone as consumers tastes are change away from the auction environment. Consumers are now favoring fixed price items with free or cheap shipping. eBay has attempted to increase the amount of fixed price products with “buy it now” and other options, but they cannot control the shipping costs.

Many major Build A Niche Store or BANS software or sites allows you to create niche sites for only eBay. Given the changing consumer tastes, you are not maximizing your income if you are only using eBay. If a BANS site or software script only uses eBay products, you should avoid using it. This is not to say the eBay is bad, simply that it should not be the sole source of your site.

Amazon is a great option to satisfy your prospects. You should create a BANS site that has products from both eBay and Amazon. Amazon, like eBay, has a ton of products for many niches. If you can find a niche chances are that Amazon will have products that will appeal to your customers. Amazon, unlike, eBay is satisfying customers demands for fixed prices and free or cheap shipping.

As a BANS site owner, you must keep an eye on changing consumer trends to maximize your income. As an affiliate marketer you are relaying on your prospect to buy. If they don’t buy because the shipping costs are too high, you loose money. Many niche site owners now are relying solely on Amazon products.

EZ Niche Builder is a php script that is very easy to install. It allows you to create and monitor unlimited niche stores using eBay, Amazon and Clickbank products. Don’t limit yourself by relying solely on eBay.

Unbiased BANS Review

December 28th, 2008 by buildanichestores

First of all, I want to state for the record that this is a true unbiased review on BANS or build a niche stores. Secondly, understand that the term “BANS” is fairly generic. In other words, there are several ways to achieve a BANS site with a couple options that are free.

What is BANS?

BANS is short for build a niche stores. You can use BANS for a number of affiliates out there, including amazon and eBay. Basically, the owner of a BANS store will build an online storefront for a particular niche. This can be virtually anything from something as popular as Ipods and other electronics to wedding dresses. The options are virtually unending which makes this practically impossible to reach a saturation process. If you can think of something to sell, chances are you will find someone who is selling it. And the best part is that BANS stores operate using RSS feeds making the work minimal and the possibility of making commissions very high (some BANS owners claim conversions rates as high as 50%).

So, this is how a typical BANS site will start. You think of a niche, such as surfboards. You do a search on eBay or Amazon for your item. You build your site, basing it on name brands of surfboards and attach each page with an RSS feed. In turn, the page automatically creates content for the search term you queried. It is really as simple as that.

So, how do you create a BANS store?

There are a number of options. If you are technical and skilled in how the internet works, you can create a BANS store without any software at all. Bloggers have been doing this for years now, basically scraping news feeds to create automatic content for their site. However, if you are like most, chances are you won’t know how to do this. In this case, you have a few options:

  1. BANS Software- (you can read my review in my resource box for this software)- This is probably one of the easiest ways to create multiple BANS sites with the least amount of effort. Basically, the way the software works is that you buy a domain and use their easy to follow instructions to set it up. The BANS software basically does the rest for you and you create a nice looking professional storefront in the niche you are targeting.
  2. PHPBayPro- This is another nice piece of software that is actually a plug-in for Wordpress. You can build a niche store with all the pros of using a blogging platform. I have used this in the past and have made money with it. The obvious benefit of this is that it there is no need to set up any backend databases. The downside is that it looks more like a blog than an actual eCommerce store. Obviously, you could gut a wordpress template to get the look you are hoping for.

The beauty of BANS is that since your pages are primarily nothing more than RSS feeds, you don’t have to spend the hours it takes to build content for your site. As an example, my most recent BANS site took me roughly 2 hours to build nearly 45 pages. And since I am using eBay for my BANS, the content is constantly changing meaning that I am getting fresh content on an hourly basis.

The best part of using BANS is that you almost automatically rank for many long tail keywords…the ones that people use to actually buy products, not just research them.

Is it really as “turn key” as most claim?

Yes and no. You still have to build backlinks to your sites in order to compete with other affiliates pushing the same products. However, in terms of speed, anyone can easily build a site in record time (with a ton of content) and move on to the next niche. I have BANS sites that I haven’t touched in months that are consistently making me $15+ a day.

Leo Dimilo has been a marketer for 5 years now and still has the bumps and bruises from all the things he has learned along the way. He has had to learn the hard way that making money in any online endeavor comes from hard work.

You can check out his complete BANS Review at his site. His site offers some basic tips on how to optimize your BANS sites to be able to make the most money from them.

Build a Niche Store - Read This Before You Buy

December 20th, 2008 by buildanichestores

I’m reviewing the affiliate marketing program called Build A Niche Store. You may know it by the initials, BANS. I’ve written this review to bring this program to the attention of as many potential users as possible.

This has become a very popular program with newbies. The basis for the popularity of this software is in the way the eBay affiliate opportunity and BANS have been integrated so seamlessly. They have also optimized the site for adsense and other advertising, so you will be able to monetize your site as soon as you build it.

I am very impressed with the ease with which a new user can build a store. BANS is a complete content management system, like every other professional website builder. BANS is not a complicated piece of software, it is, however, extremely powerful. Once you have familiarized yourself with the user manual, which is very well detailed, you can have a fully functional website live in about 10 minutes. If you are not familiar with HTML or computers, it may take you an hour. Even though it is possible to build a website in 10 minutes, I would suggest you take a little time to organize your thoughts on the front side to prevent any needless quick decisions.

In fact, BANS has a very active forum that covers just about any question you could possibly have about the operation of your BANS site. They even cover choosing your niche. The first thing you want to do the minute you purchase BANS is to go into the forum and collect information from current users of the software. Use the information you get from the forum to help you build your first site. You’ll be glad you did.

I have noticed that the sites that concentrated on SEO have done much better than the ones that did not. My suggestion would be to make sure your site is optimized for your keywords and continuously updated to score well with the search engines. Just like any conventional website that you would build, the SEO requirements are the same. Backlinks are just as important no matter what type of website builder you may use.

All in all, I came away with a very good feeling about BANS, you pay only once and you can build as many websites as you like, it has excellent support, as well as community help through the forum. I feel that you can optimize your site with the tools available in the program. The admin section is complete and it gives you total control of the program, it’s very well done. I think that this would be a very good start in making money online for anyone anxious to get started.

Build a Niche Store Review - Training for Newbies!

December 12th, 2008 by buildanichestores

If you are into affiliate marketing than you should read this build a niche store review. Even if you are new to affiliate marketing you can get a training from start to finish what is required to set up that store in 10 days or less. So here is how it works…

For any affiliate marketer, these sites are a blessing but they do require some work. You can build as many sites as you can with this software so the overall cost of the business is very low. After initial investment for the software, you only need about $50 per month on average. But, having said this, there are some people who are not very successful and here is why.

Number one Newbie Mistake! Selecting too general of a niche…First you need to understand the niche market. The Niche Market is not cellular phones. The niche market is Nokia Cellular phones. The Niche Market is not Jeans, but Levis Jeans. To really make these sites profitable, you have to narrow down your niche market.

Besides the research of the market, you have to research your keywords very well in order to make those sites successful. Because if you pick too generic of a keyword, there is a good change you may not make that site successful. But even with some generic searches you will make some sales.

Build a niche store can be used for newbies, but the only downside is that you really have to learn how to put it all together including the marketing. You also do need to have some basic knowledge of uploading your file to the hosting company and pointing your domain in the right direction. But other than that, you do not need to know anything about website building. The software does it for you and as long as you follow the manual, you will build that first site.

Build a Niche store has a forum that is free to members, and it has a lot of information in it. It is very important to take it one step at the time and first do everything outlined in the manual before you move onto customizing your store.

As mentioned before, there is a free training for newbies that walks them through understanding of the affiliate marketing to free resources they can use to find keywords and research that niche market. This is probably the most important aspect of build a niche store software. I believe that anyone who has about 20 hours a week to spend on this will get the initial investment back in 30 days or less, but only if done right!

My road to success was very expensive. Trial and error = loss of a lot of money. I did not know about a lot of free resources. I wowed to change that once I started seeing my success.

December 5th, 2008 by buildanichestores

Do you have your own website and would like to make money from it.

Yes, Build a niche store or Bans is a great way for you make a good income from your website.

I have my own website and start looking at ways i could make money with it through affiliate programs. I have tried many different programs to make money and spent a lot of money paying for products and software to help me make money, with no real success’s. That was until i stumbled upon a product named Build a niche store. I had a look at bans and read many reviews about it, and found that almost every review i read was positive and that the people that had already bought bans highly recommended it. So i took action and decided to give it a try for myself, so i bought it, i think it cost me around $97.00.

So what do you get for your $97.00

*Installation and User manuals

Bans give you a very good in depth Installation manual that walks you through every thing from becoming an eBay affiliate to purchasing a domain and setting up web hosting and also gives you a step by step Installation instructions for bans itself. The user manual show you exactly how to build your niche store.

*Templates

The guild shows you how to add your own templates to bans, so that your niche store will be kept in theme with the rest of your website.

*And the rest

You can do everything that you need to in the BANS control panel it allows you to edit your home page, Edit your site map, Create a new content page, Change the meta tags and even enter keywords.

I found BANS to be a very useful tool however it does have it bad points.

*BANS only work with eBay’s affiliate program

This means if you have you own product or want to start selling as a drop shipper then BANS is not for you.

BANS is a good way to start making money from your website and it is also very easy to use.

Build A Niche Store Review

December 2nd, 2008 by buildanichestores

Over the years I’ve used (and still use) a number of scripts and programs to make money on the Internet. One such program is the Build A Niche Store program.

The Build A Niche Store program (or BANS as many people refer to it) is a script that generates a web site for you and populates it with the latest Ebay listings. It regularly checks ebay for your specified categories to update the listings on your website. This way your content is kept fresh and search engines line fresh content.

The Build A Niche Store program is great for people just getting started in Internet Marketing. It’s a breeze to set up. Installation normally takes only about 30 minutes or so. That’s right, you can have a fully functional web site monetized with ebay products in under an hour.

You get to decide which products you want the program to pull from Ebay. Once you’ve selected the Category, the Build A Niche Store program will then automatically populate the website with the sub categories and products from these categories. It really is that simple.

It’s up to you then to SEO optimize your website, although BANS does a decent job right out of the box. This is one reason it is so wildly popular.

If you’d like to learn more about the Build A Niche Store program, just follow the links in the resource box to my website. There you’ll find more information on the programs as well as tips and advice on how to get the most from your BANS site. Also, if you haven’t already bought the program, you can buy it through my website and I’ll give you a huge bonus for doing so. This bonus will help you quick start the earnings of your new site. Enjoy the program and I look forward to hearing from you.

7 Reasons to Build an eBay Niche Store

November 28th, 2008 by buildanichestores

In this article, I’ll go over seven great benefits that will detail exactly why you should build an eBay niche store. Of course, while the benefits of entering this profitable market count higher than seven, the ones listed here are among the “top” reasons I have personally found - and are the very same reasons why I use this technique to make money online.

1. You’re an eBay Affiliate - Not an eBay Seller

You simply sign up for the eBay Affiliate program with Commission Junction and get a PID number-plug that number into the software you are using to build your eBay Niche Store and your website will have listings automatically displayed that give you credit for those products. There is no listing items, no paying listing fees, no shipping products, and no producing products.

2. eBay Niche Stores Are Proven to Make Money

With many online niche stores, Myself as well as many other individuals have observed that given the proper research when selecting a niche, on-page optimization, and effective promotion (using free marketing tactics)-eBay niche stores provide a stable stream of online income as long as you are patient, and continue to take action until they grow to that point (which is a relatively short amount of time). With very low costs associated with running a store (around $15/year for a domain name), this business model makes perfect sense.

3. Finding a Profitable Niche is Easier with eBay Niche Stores

When starting a new website or investing money into a business within a certain niche, you have to be very careful when selecting a niche to do business in-and that process can be very long and difficult. Because you can have an eBay niche store online in a very short amount of time, and the risks involved are very minimal, selecting a niche for an eBay niche store is less stressful in that aspect. I’ve trained absolute beginners on how to select a profitable niche for their eBay affiliate store, and because eBay has their own marketplace, if you combine that with other free tools on the Internet, this process is as painless as it gets.

4. Very Easy to Manage Each Store - Build Dozens for Long-Term Profit

Once you have built your store and have a plan on how you are going to take advantage of free promotion to get your website climbing the ranks in the search engines, you can start working on another store because the other is virtually on “auto-pilot”. Imagine making a new store every week, or even every other week. How much money would you be making if each of these stores averaged around $100 per month, once they have had a little time to “mature”? Or better yet, how many stores would you build?

5. If One Store Fails, It Won’t Have a Significant Impact on Your Business

If you had 27 eBay niche stores, all making a little bit of money, but adding up to a large monthly income-it wouldn’t have too big of an impact on your overall income if one store went down and suddenly become non-profitable because of market changes. This is because it was only one piece of a big puzzle. It would be very easy to research another niche and build an eBay niche store to replace the one that had “crashed”. On the other hand, using a different business model-say you had one only one website that was making a large sum of money each month. If something happened and that one store was to suddenly become non-profitable for whatever reason, your entire business would be “flushed down the toilet”.

6. It’s Very Easy to Drive Traffic to eBay Niche Stores

Using effective free promotional strategies, it is very easy to drive highly targeted, long-term traffic to your eBay niche stores-and targeted traffic is all you need for these stores to turn a profit because eBay’s system does the rest of the work for you.

7. With the Right Software, Have a Store Up and Running in a Day or Two

There are many good scripts out there that allow you to integrate eBay listings into an existing website, or build a complete eBay niche store from scratch. Many of these tools are free, and others you have to pay to use. However, *most* of the software requires you to have some technical know-how in order to use it to make an effective, professional-grade, search engine optimized store. The benefit to using the paid software is that nothing has to be done completely from scratch and once you learn how to use it, you can have each store in “auto-pilot” mode within a few days or sometimes less.
